So whilst we’re just fantasising we might as well take a look at the w910i. When it is released it will be the latest Walkman phone.

I am pretty taken by the style of this phone. It slides open to reveal the number pad, unlike all these other candy box phones.

It boasts new ‘SenseMe’ software that allows users to create mp3 playlists that suit their mood, which I feel is a totally worthless feature, definitely not a selling point. And as for shaking the phone to change the song, they must be running out of ideas.

There’s not really much else going for it, but it’s new and full of mostly superfluous features, which would normally put it a notch above the others in the Walkman series.

Whatever this will cost, it won’t be cheaper than the k850i, and as I would choose that phone over this, there’s little point waiting to find out.
