W610i

The w610i is the most recent Walkman branded phone to be released, and as far as I can see offers little more than the other Walkman phones. Sure the casing is a slightly different style, the buttons look an ok size, and there is no joystick, but aside from that there is nothing to scream and shout about.

Same old same old 2MP pixel camera, Walkman 2.0 software. Only a 512mb Micro Stick included with this one, but that’s better than nothing.

One thing pushes me with one hand and pulls with the other is the casing. The back (not really visible from the photo) is completely that Sony trait of orange, and it sticks out like a sore thumb. It’s the sort of thing that will make your mates give you funny looks at for. I know that because I would give me funny looks too.

It too is 18 months half-price, which you just can’t complain about.
